FOUNTAIN CITY, WI (June 11, 2010) For the fourth time this season, the weather beat the crew, fans, and drivers at MISSISSIPPI THUNDER SPEEDWAY. It was also another night that the WISSOTA Late Models were scheduled to run in an already limited schedule at MTS.
The next event will be June 18th with all regular classes competing including WISSOTA Street Stocks, WISSOTA Super Stocks, USRA Modifieds, USRA B-Mods, 600 Mini Mods, and the A and B Mini Mods. Racing begins at 6 p.m. for the Mini Mods and 7 p.m. for all other classes.
Friday, June 25th the USMTS will storm the speedway in a $2000-to-win event. WISSOTA Street Stocks, USRA B-Mods, USRA Modifieds, and the A and B Mini Mods will also compete that night.
The July Fourth Holiday weekend will kick off early at Mississippi Thunder with the first Street Stock Summer Nationals including the Jailhouse Saloon WISSOTA Street Stocks and WISSOTA Late Models on Thursday, July 1st. The following night on Friday, July 2nd the WISSOTA Late Model Challenge Series sponsored by Joe Provo Race Wear cruises into town for a $3000-to-win show. Also competing will be the Winona Auto Sales WISSOTA Super Stocks, USRA Modifieds, Oakridge Fabrication 600 Mini Mods, and the RedBox+ A and B Mini Mods.
As we near the half-way mark of the season, the point race has begun to heat up. Be on top of it all and dont miss a night at Mississippi Thunder.
