The Buzzing News: A Hornet Swarm Returning To MISSISSIPPI THUNDER SPEEDWAY June 4th!

FOUNTAIN CITY, WI (May 26, 2010) MISSISSIPPI THUNDER SPEEDWAY owners Bob & Paula Timm and Tom & Tina Lockner are happy to announce the return of the Hornet Division to the fastest 1/3-mile dirt track in the area! Starting June 4th, the Hornet Swarm will sweep onto the speedway bringing with them their own unique form of fun and excitement!

Speedway owner Bob Timm commented, during the May 26th "Thunder Talk" program (broadcast each and every Wednesday evening at 7 PM on Winona Radio's KG-95.3 FM station), "You know, the Hornets are a special division. Over the winter, as we were making plans for the 2010 season, we were afraid that we just wouldn't have time for them during our weekly program.

"But, now I think I've got this figured out.", continued Timm, "We're going to bring them back on an alternative schedule similar to how we're bringing the Late Models back to the track." While the Hornet division won't be at the speedway every single week, they will be a regular fixture on the schedule, visiting the track on those nights when a division or two are absent from the program.

The first of those evenings is Friday June 4th, during the Second Annual Baehman Law B-Mod Challenge!

Drivers or Hornet owners can contact Bob Timm (via the web site's "Contact" page) if they have any questions.
