MISSISSIPPI THUNDER SPEEDWAY REVS UP PRE-SEASON THUNDER WITH INDOOR CAR SHOW

WINONA, MN (March 29, 2011) – MISSISSIPPI THUNDER SPEEDWAY officially kicked off the third season of action at what is quickly becoming one of the hottest speedways in the Upper Midwest with the Second Annual MISSISSIPPI THUNDER SPEEDWAY Car Show! For the second year in a row, racers and race fans alike were invited into the warm dry interior of Sugar Loaf Ford, in Winona, on Saturday March 26th to enjoy the first official unveiling of racing hardware which has been prepped to hit the track during the 2011 season!

Fans and racers alike enjoyed the start of spring, and super-charged their anticipation of a summer-full of dirt-track action (by enjoying the sites, sounds and friends that make racing in the upper midwest so much fun)! Coca-Cola Bottling Company of Winona once again provided free beverages for all in attendence.

Hyvee of Winona was also on hand to feed the race fans hunger by providing free Hot Dogs during the event and Sugar Loaf Ford of Winona provided popcorn.

Winona Radio's KG 95.3 was also on hand with live remote broadcasts, talking with some of the drivers and speedway representatives about the quickly approaching 2011 season!

Drivers participating in the show were thanked for their appearances by receiving two (2) free pit passes for any regular event during the 2011 racing season at MISSISSIPPI THUNDER SPEEDWAY. Cars began moving into the Sugar Loaf Ford of Winona building at 10:00am and remained on hand for all to view until the last fan had a look!

The next event on the 2011 MISSISSIPPI THUNDER SPEEDWAY calendar is an Open Practice Session (which is open to the public for viewing - free of charge) on Friday May 15th, followed just one week later by the Official 2011 Season Opener, on Friday May 22nd!

So prepare yourself for a summer full of top-speed action as the 2011 racing season approaches . . . the cars are ready, the drivers are ready, the track is ready - now it's up to you to get ready to FEEL THE THUNDER!!
