FOUNTAIN CITY, WI (January 04, 2010) – MISSISSIPPI THUNDER SPEEDWAY owners Bob & Paula Timm and Tom & Tina Lockner are excited to announce the classes and
payouts for the 2010 season at the High-Speed 1/3-Mile West-Central Wisconsin Dirt Track located in Fountain City, Wisconsin. All regular weekly shows will
include WISSOTA Street Stocks, 600 Mods, USRA B-Mods, WISSOTA Super Stocks, and USRA Modifieds.
The Speedway owners were also excited to announce that WISSOTA Late Models will be joining the show - running a limited schedule at MISSISSIPPI THUNDER SPEEDWAY
for the 2010 season. "We will likely start out with seven to ten shows and add or subtract shows depending on support from both the fans and drivers.", explained Bob
Timm when talking about the plans for adding the popular Late Model Division to the 2010 schedule, "We are currently working on the 2010 schedule and hope to release
a preliminary schedule in the next few weeks."
Another change for the 2010 season will be that MISSISSIPPI THUNDER SPEEDWAY will be allowing WISSOTA legal Modifieds to run in the USRA Modified class with
the Hoosier "H" tire. This means, of course, that any drivers/owners of WISSOTA Modifieds are now welcome to visit MISSISSIPPI THUNDER SPEEDWAY and run weekly
without the necessity of changing anything!
"With it being our first year under the USRA B-Mod sanctioning", continued Timm, "we will be allowing the WISSOTA legal 9.5:1 motors to run in the USRA B-Mod class
for the 2010 season. We will also allow birdcages to be bolted with upper links removed, no welding required." Timm added that MISSISSIPPI THUNDER SPEEDWAY
will be enforcing the USRA tire rules for B-Mods.
